The background of us is “G-an Gallery” established since 2007 that was located at 365-2 Pyeongchang-dong, Jongno-gu, which is regarded as one of the prestigious districts in Seoul as an art gallery venue. This place was owned and managed by artist Ahn Jung Aie who still stays at the background of the Gallery G-an as an artistic advisor and mentor. The Gallery not only exhibited artworks of many local Korean Artists, but also worked with National Museum of Modern Contemporary Art Korea (MMCA) to host and sponsor emerging Asian Artists having their exhibitions in Korea. We freshly reborn in 2014 as Gallery G-an at Heyri Art Valley, Paju City in South Korea, which was officially described by CNN as “the loveliest valley on earth / all artists are dreaming” At Gallery G-an, art is accessible, affordable and being a healing beauty for those who care to appreciate it. Our goal is to exhibit artworks that tell inspiring stories about love, people, culture or nature of where the artwork are origin from. We believe that supporting artists is the way to preserve and share the beauty of a culture and its value. Through many international culture exchange experiences, we have learnt that there are boundaries of language, customs and geography that limit artists to share their inspiring stories to audiences. Hence, Gallery G-an would like to be the bridge to connect artists to their international audiences in the growing excited art scene of Asia. SHOP FOR ARTGallery Planet
