- Zoncy (b. 1987) is a performing and performance art artist from Myanmar. Zoncy had a strong passion in poetry and creative writing, in which she was well-trained in Myanmar Literature composition, achieved several awards during secondary and high schools. She studied painting for four summers under Daw Nwe Nwe Yi, one of Myanmar first generation women artists. She graduates an honour Bachelor in Computer Sciences in 2008, from University of Computer Studies Yangon. She then started her career in Journalism, working as a reporter at Living Color Media. She later abandoned both in 2010, and worked essentially with visual arts, in which she does believes that art is the most flexible and sustainable reporting. She was trained in Modern painting and post modern practices at New Zero Art Space, soon she focused in performance in 2009 and 2010.
