Born and raised in Milan, Italy, Sara paints her own version of reality through her conceptual work. She believes in the concept that we cannot separate an observed object from the observer. When she paints, there is a need to understand, acknowledge and immerse herself in her subject matter.
Sara is a self-proclaimed perfectionist, and seeks a kind of beauty which is unattainable. Every time she paints, it gives her the sense that the subject is looking at her and relishes in being looked at and being loved. Through this conceptual belief, Sara feels that she regains the life that she loses every day, a little at a time.
