- Leo Poloniecki is a British artist living and working in Singapore. who was trained at the Camberwell Art School, part of the London Institute, where he specialised in Fine Art. After graduating, he went on to read English Literature at Exeter University.
These two loves – art and literature – have been the two sides of his creative life. He's written a number of novels and screenplays, whilst developing his love for the visual arts.
He is a contemplative painter and understands that the act of beginning a painting creates an imbalance that asks to be resolved. Whether painting figurative or abstract work, each painting becomes a journey towards that resolution - with its own set of struggles and conflicts.
Above all, there's a love of the pleasure of paint itself, and the textures and colours that can be created with it. With luck, any finished work communicates the enjoyment the artist has had making it. - Location
