  • Laurent Judge
  • Artist Story
  • Born in Paris in 1976, Laurent discovered his love forpainting when he was 6 years old during a visit to one of Joan Miro’s exhibitions. In 1993, he studied the letter painting and developed a taste for graffiti over the years. In 2000, he had the opportunity to collaborate with renown artists such as Jean Faucheur and Popay De Ayguavives.

His works are heavily influenced by fractal art, abstract impressionism and prehistoric art. His works are often layered with rhythms and vibrations from the music he listens to whilst he works. Traveling within Vietnam since 2010, Laurent has had the opportunity to hold exhibitions at the Fine Arts Museum of Ho Chi Minh City, and to give art classes to the French Lycée Marguerite Duras of HCMC.

Laurent’s works enable us to travel imaginatively into far-fetched stories, where the unlikely marriage of the grotesque and serious blend together. The blurring lines between fun, dreams and questioning leaves the viewer with an endless journey of discovery.
