Treasure | 5 years old | Male | Singapore Special

Treasure was rescued on the third day of Chinese New Year in 2011 after being run over by a lorry along Tuas Road two days earlier. Not knowing the severity of the injuries, the workers at the accident site moved Treasure to a side road to prevent him from being run over again but did not know how to rehabilitate him aside from providing water.

His situation was reported to ASD by a feeder only two days later.

The vet’s diagnosis was awful: part of his spine was completely severed. As a consequence, he had permanently lost use of both his hind legs and has poor bladder and bowel control.

Today, Treasure is able to trundle around freely using a contraption with two rear wheels fitted to his body. He is the first to greet visitors at ASD's Adoption and Rescue Centre (ARC) and his cheerful friendly disposition has earned him the unofficial title of Chief ARC Welcoming Committee!

Since Treasure requires special care, he is not available for adoption.

Those keen to support him are welcome to do so by donating a small amount of $35 each month.
