Le Ngoc Tuong | Vietnam
Le Ngoc Tuong (b.1970 ) in Hanoi and graduated from Hue’s Fine Art University in 1998. He used to paint dark shade still-lifes but has since made a transition towards semi-obscured atmospheres in his paintings. Today, his works display large white bright spaces and multiple layers. As the layers of paint get thicker, they also become the centrepiece of the painting, giving us clues of his disrupted life, like a footprint of the past.
