Philipp Aldrup is a photographer and designer from Germany who has been based in South-East Asia for almost 10 years. Perceiving mankind’s existence as a brief moment in the vastness of time and space, he seeks places of unsettling beauty; scenes that seem to contain fragments of all dimensions of time: present, past and future.View Profile »
He aims to create visuals that are dramatic and contemplative; sombre but not pessimistic. His works are meditations and a quiet rebellion against a Zeitgeist based on sheer functionality and perfection.
