Bruno | 4 years old | Male | Rottweiler Cross

Bruno was found under a lamppost in the Punggol area in 2013, abandoned by his previous family. A feeder had found him and vowed to rescue him if she was to see him again the next day.

Missing human connection and love, Bruno willingly followed the feeder into her van the next day when she saw him. Unfortunately the feeder was unable to permanently care for Bruno and contacted ASD for help.

Bruno’s challenges did not end after being taken in by ASD. He contracted a severe case of tick fever – a condition that destroys a dog’s red blood cells and causes life-threatening anemia.

This portrait of Bruno is of him recovering at the hospital. Today, Bruno has fully recuperated and has regained both his appetite and weight.

We suspect that he was abandoned, as he is able to obey basic commands. He is a large and strong dog and would benefit from the guidance of an experienced dog owner.
