His paintings expresses vitality, through the use of mostly primary colours. In limiting his palette, he reduces the time it take to create a work. Despite that, the finished works are rich in sensations, with loose brushstrokes that produce a visually pleasing effect. Besides the paintbrush, he also uses a spatula to achieve different planes.
He uses key colours for each of his paintings, achieving interesting focal points depending on his viewers. The resulting works are deeply driven by colours than other qualities.
Currently retired, Jose paints to pass time and welcomes you to the patterns in his mind.
